If you receive notification that your credit report is either frozen or locked, you will have to temporarily lift it before we can process your application.

Make sure to lift your freeze or lock at the appropriate credit reporting agency as highlighted below. You can do this online or via phone using the contact information below.

Next Steps

Lifting a freeze usually takes effect quickly but to be on the safe side, you should wait about an hour before trying again. If you're in Canada, please contact Elective to reset your account so you can continue with your application. If you're in the US, you will have the ability to reset your account directly in the checkout flow.
