Creating payment settings through Elective is easy. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough on how to create and modify the payment settings that you will apply to your products.
Create a Payment Setting in Elective: Log in to your Elective account, head over to the Checkouts dashboard and click to find Payment Settings. Click on the blue button that says 'Create Payment Setting'
Configure Your Payment Setting: Here is where can set up our payment setting details.
- LNPL: Turn this on to enable Elective funding
- Pay in Full: Allows for single payment
- Elective Blling: Your in-house payment plans. Some key terms;
Key Terms Description Name This is the name of the payment setting that you will apply. # of Payments This is the number of payments you are allowing for the plan Payment Frequency This currently defaults to Monthly Add Payment Plans We currently only support United States Dollars
Once you've successfully created your payment setting(s) you will be able to see it in the Payment Settings dashboard and add it to a Checkout!
Done!🎉 You have just successfully created your first Payment Settings in Elective.
